This Cherokee Indian story is so powerful that we designed a necklace around it.

“One evening an old Cherokee Indian told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people.  He said, ‘My son, inside each of us there are two ‘wolves’ fighting. One wolf is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.

The other wolf is good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith.’

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather: ‘Which wolf wins?’

Designer’s Notes: I designed this necklace in honor of one of my heros, Somaly Mam, sex trafficking survivor, founder of Somaly.org and author of The Road of Lost Innocence. I had the privilege of meeting Somaly a couple years ago.  She was so inspirational and adamant in her belief that love can change love can heal, that I made this pendant a positive affirmation of force so that we all can be drawn into action.

Designer’s Notes: When I sculpted these lips I thought about how I never had beautiful sultry lips and that young girls should know that it is not about the shape or plumpness of your lips but what comes out of your mouth that matters. Speak Up! Be Heard! Use your voice to raise awareness for issues you care about and speak up for those who do not have the freedom or strength to do so. And girls, please say nice things about other girls. To have beautiful lips you don’t need the latest lip color or injections, you just need to say beautiful (kind) things!

The infinity sign symbolizes something limitless – perfect to describe a woman’s potential. Designer’s Notes:  I love scorpions, as they are tiny but tough.  Look closely at this piece and you will see a heart has replaced the scorpion’s stinger.  When I get my feelings hurt or someone makes me angry, I try to remember this scorpion and to ‘kill them with kindness” rather than lashing out with something negative as that only makes matters worse.  The school bully is only the school bully because they are not getting the love and attention they need.  So I tell my kids you have to be extra nice to the mean people because they are not getting enough love. They’re always shocked at how quickly the mean person starts treating them nicely.  Wear this and make it all better with LOVE!

We are crazy about this heart that opens up to a special message. On the outside it says, Love is Showing, and on the inside it says Your Heart.

Designer’s Notes: This piece is special to me because my 4-year-old daughter designed it. She told me “mamma, you know what love is? Love is showing your heart! “ I said oh that would be a great necklace and she said, make a big heart with a tiny one next to it so that is what I did!

It is often thought that an elephant with an uplifted trunk brings good luck. Well how about one with an uplifted trunk who is carrying a heart of love! Maybe that is ‘extra’ good luck?  We love this guy with his sparkling diamond in his eye.
